Aniseed Biscuits

Ingredients

1 kilo flour farina 00

250gr corn oil

300gr sugar

45gr baking powder

4 eggs

85gr ouzo

Some aniseeds

Black seeds.

Methods

In the mixer you beat and mix the sugar and eggs well.

You then rub together by hand (or with the mixer if you’re making a large quantity), the flour, oil, aniseed and the baking powder.

Add the sugar and egg mixture and you stir well.

Finally you add the ouzo.

You take the pastry and you make long and thin long, round shapes which you roll in the aniseed and the black seeds.

Mark the top of the pastry with your knife or with a spatula and you cook at 170 degrees for 30 minutes.

Once they are out of the oven, you allow them to cool before cutting them into slices. Lay them out on the tray on buttered paper and put them back in the oven for another 20-25 minutes at 150 degrees or until well browned.
