Gathering of the Culinary Arts Programs Graduates for the 20 years of Intercollege’s Successes 1996-2016
On 13/5/2016 organized with great success the Alumni night for the 20 successfully years of the Culinary Arts Program of Intercollege. At specific event graduated students had the opportunity to share many memorable moments and had unforgettable reunion. The event of the Alumni night took place at the Pavilion Hall restaurant. Chefs, who they where graduated students of Culinary Arts Program, cook and supervised the great and delicious food.
Special thank and awards have been given from the Alumni students and the management of the department to Dr Nicos Peristianis for his support and tireless effort to the department and generally to the Intercollege – University of Nicosia
Holistic Clinic Paracelsus Lecture by the Company “HERBS ARE MY WORLD”
On the 05.24.2016 at the culinary amphitheater of Nicosia University a lecture was held by Dr. Mrs. Kadi qualified in Holistic Clinic Paracelsus issues in Switzerland. Ms. Kadi spoke about her own personal experience and the treatments used by the worldwide known Doctor DR RAU. The event was organized by Mr. George Ellinas within the framework of botany courses organized by the company “Herbs are my world” The seminar was attended by Mr. George Kyprianou who represented CyChefs and the University of Nicosia. In the seminar George Kyprianou welcomed all the participants on behalf of the University of Nicosia and had also the opportunity to present the healthy cookery book “Nutichef”.
Jameson Whiskey Cocktail Competition
On 25 of May in “Palea Elektriki” took place the competition of the very famous “Jameson”. George (CyChefs)was one of the Juries. The event was perfect organized and the competitors barmen were very impressive with there cocktail shows based on whisky Jameson
NutriChef is the Winnder of the World Gourmand Book Awards
George Kyprianou travelled to China from 26-29 of May since his book written with Nicoletta Ntortzi, entitled “Diatrochef” or “NutriChef” was chosen among 202 countries and was graded as one of the best 3 cookery books of the world. The “Nutrichef” was declared as the best healthy eating – cooking book around the world. At the events that followed George had the opportunity to talk to several publishers, journalists, university directors and other Authors from various countries.
Cyprus gastronomy Promotion in China
George Kyprianou promoted Cyprus gastronomy and the culinary arts Programs we offer in Cyprus to the 77 finalist countries through the several events held in the “World Gourmand Awards”
